Navy Enlisted Submarine Jobs

The Navy offers many enlisted jobs for Sailors who want to serve on submarines. Some roles are technical, while others are not. Every job supports the mission underwater.

Submariners do more than manage nuclear reactors. They help run the fleet. They keep submarines moving, ready, and effective.

Who Can Apply?

• You need a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Some jobs require extra education or added training.
• You must pass medical screening and a physical fitness test.
• You must meet Navy standards for moral character.
• You must pass aptitude testing.

This work is demanding. It is not the right fit for everyone. If you qualify, the Navy can offer a role under the ocean.
